This trail and overlook is part of the greater CHICKIES ROCK COUNTY PARK.

If you go to the right of the parking lot there is a trail that will take you down to the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail. The Heritage trail is not long, but it is very steep and rocky. There are some additional "trails" that are at the opposite end of the overlook. They go on for a little while, then become overgrown with brush.

At the top of the trail is the Breezy View Overlook, with panoramic views of the Susquehanna River, and a gazebo used for special events.
